Lesson with Venson

I was tremendously lucky to find Dave's advertisement online. I have been his student for only four weeks and I have gone from zero experience and skill on the guitar, and little else in music, to understanding the fundamentals of music and guitar and excelling in playing a complex song with six chords. Dave is friendly, flexible and incredibly knowledgable and I would recommend him to anyone!

I couldn't recommend David more as a music teacher. I'm taking guitar and piano with him, and I am very happy to have a teacher who loves music of all kinds, understands the theory behind what he teaches, and is patient and easy to get along with. It's clear that he has had a very good education, and possesses the ability to share what he has learned with his students. You'll see what I mean.

When I started, I thought the violin would be incredibly difficult to learn, but lessons with Dave made it fun! As a teacher, he's very knowledgeable and quick to correct mistakes before bad habits are formed. He's taught me everything from how to hold the bow properly to how to produce a good sound. His patience, encouragement, and friendly personality makes him a standout teacher.

After spending just one session with David, I realized the difference that a good teacher can make. David has provided me with the skills that I was lacking to become a confident violin player. His patience creates a confortable environment for learning and his ongoing motivation inspires me to continually strive for a high level of achievement.
